And since I was having such a hard time rolling cheese, I didn’t want to have to waste mine on powering a special when I really wanted to level. They will face countless adversaries such as rats, cockroaches, and spiders, and of course the greatest of all horrors: the castle's housecat, Brodie.

I think this is a great choice for people looking for a role-playing experience in a board game, especially those who are just getting into modern board games. Unless you’re very careful, expect to see some wear pretty quickly unless you sleeve all of the cards.While I would like to play more, the thickness and complexity of rulebooks for some of the most praised RPGs scares me. Tail Link (Discard instead of battle action when another mouse shares your space to defeat a minion in that space. Until the end of this round, after a mouse performs an action, that mouse may spend 1 cheese to perform 1 additional action. Where as I wish that there would be more of ‘we have a plan how to sneak through those rat warrior guards, but something went wrong and we have solved it all together by making narratively exciting decisions!

We've been interested in Mice and Mystics but also just got Descent: Journeys in the Dark 2nd Edition for Christmas and the boys have loved it - playing constantly. At the beginning of Maginos' next turn remove the Meeps marker from the board and place it on Maginos' card.

These are a few of the issues that we came across in our limited pay through (we did not complete the game). Those set of actions can be narrative summarised into ‘we attacked that enemy and then we killed that enemy’. The heroes have many dangers ahead of them, including Venestra’s evil minions but also unexpected threats that come from being tiny in size. Mice and Mystics is a boldly innovative game that thrusts players into an ever-changing, interactive environment, and features a rich storyline that the players help create as they play the game. So I thought I'd post it where everyone can see it as I know I'm not the only one who wondering about this game.
