DeepCool is using a 3-pin proprietary connector on the digital RGB cables. There is a Sync cable provided as well which allows the solution to be connected to the digital RGB headers on the supported motherboards. The lighting aurora is quite pleasant and subtle to my liking. This goes hand in hand with the overall white color on the cooler. This is too good an anesthetic to have! The chassis fans are disabled, all case panels are on, and the sound meter is placed 12 inches from the side of the Fractal chassis’ glass side panel – roughly where a desk user will be sat. The fan configuration is the three included Fractal Dynamic X2 GP-14 fans spinning at full 1000 RPM speed. In addition to the two 140mm front-mounted fans, and single 140mm rear exhaust, we added a be quiet! Pure Wings 2 1000 RPM 140mm fan as roof exhaust for air cooler testing. The aim here was to keep consistency with the airflow path of the liquid coolers which are always roof mounted. Deepcool has included 2x TF-140S fans in white color having a dimension of 140x140x25mm. The fans are secured using metal fan clips. The maximum rated speed on this fan is 1200 RPM with a maximum airflow rating of 70.81 CFM and a 1.16 mmAq air pressure rating. The overall sound level rating is up to 31.5 dBA and these fans are using Fluid Dynamic Bearings.

Overall, this is not a great installation procedure and the orientation flexibility is limited due to the G.SKILL logoWe have to deal with 11 components in total to mount the installation kit. Effective from this content, we will not be giving detailed installation steps as the user guide is there to cover it. Clearance

Overall, a reasonably straightforward installation process, but the attachment method for the central fan could do with improvement. Deepcool has provided a dedicated controller with the cooler. The controller is using a proprietary 3-pin connector for the cable coming from the heatsink. The controller is SATA powered. DeepCool AS500 Plus Controller

Given their high-airflow, loud fans, it is not all that surprising to see the AIO liquid coolers performing very well in this high heat load test.
