Ok. However, tradition is not unequivocal about that. Conservative scholars these days generally seem to want to separate 1-2 Chronicles from Ezra-Nehemiah as the content and purpose of the two seem quite distinct (in some ways Ezra-Nehemiah flows on more naturally from 1-2 Kings). Of course Ezra is about Ezra, and not necessarily by Ezra, apart from the few chapters of Autobiography in Ezra (note that Nehemiah, which is integrally part of the twofold book of Ezra-Nehemiah, also contains an even longer autobiography by Nehemiah). I’d be very cautious about attributing Ezra-Nehemiah to Ezra, and would think that the likelihood of 1-2 Chronicles coming from the pen of the author of Ezra-Nehemiah as being almost 0%. Once you open The Infographic Bible, you’ll find it difficult to put it down. As a teacher, you could build entire lessons around the infographics contained in this book!

Karen Sawrey: Wow, I’m so thankful for everyone involved in creating Bible Gateway. It’s such an incredible tool; one which I regularly use and love. I especially appreciate the ability to compare different translations at the same time. The cupbearer dreams of a grape vine with three branches, which he harvests and presses into Pharaoh’s cup. The three branches represent three days between the dream and the cupbearer’s restoration to Pharaoh’s court. 8. The baker’s baskets The king of Babylon has a terrifying dream, and nobody can interpret it but the Hebrew wise man, Daniel. This dream involves an enormous statue made of various materials—which represent different world kingdoms. The statue is smashed by a stone which becomes a mountain, representing the coming kingdom of God. 14. Nebuchadnezzar’s tree With God, we get to do those things the world says are impossible. Of course it takes risk and vulnerability from us, and creating this book has taken both! Jacob’s favorite son Joseph has two dreams that throw a wrench in the family dynamic. In the first dream, Joseph and his brothers are gathering grain into sheaves. Jospeh’s sheaf stands upright, but the brother’s bundles of grain bow down to Joseph’s sheaf.

This graphic is full of life and hope; it’s one of the most powerful in the whole book because it reveals Jesus as the Messiah! It shows every messianic Old Testament prophecy and then how those were fulfilled in the New Testament. It’s the very thing that the Christian faith is based upon… and that’s what makes it so very exciting! In essence, these infographics solidify and reveal the truth of Mathew 5:17 (“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them”). Long before the nation of Israel settled between the Mediterranean and the Jordan River, their ancestor Abraham sojourned throughout the territory with his wife Sarah. Abraham was a rich guy (and therefore a pretty big deal), so it’s not like he and Sarah just stopped at a Holiday Inn late at night before leaving at first light the next day. When Abraham moved to a new city, the leadership of that city took note.

THE INFOGRAPHIC BIBLE All Prophecies about Jesus — THE INFOGRAPHIC BIBLE

This incredible gift of co-creating with him is extended to every single person and it’s in that place that dreams are birthed, awaked and activated into reality. My passion is to work with God to awaken, activate and affirm creatives, to rise up and open Kingdom doors. The book of Revelation proclaims the door that Jesus opens no man can shut! There has never been another season in our generation when wellbeing has been as important as it is now. This graphic appears in the centre section of The Infographic Bible where there are visuals of the Bible’s response to topical issues that affect us today. That looked like volunteers doing my cleaning, shopping and sometimes cooking for me while my bottom was firmly fixed to my studio seat! But most importantly the project was supported with prayer. (see p218)Even the Bible has become the target of sentiment analysis enthusiasts. This visualisation claims to explore the "ups" and "downs" of the Bible narrative, using sentiment analysis to quantify when positive and negative events are happening. The results? "Things start off well with creation, turn negative with Job and the patriarchs, improve again with Moses, dip with the period of the judges, recover with David, and have a mixed record (especially negative when Samaria is around) during the monarchy." You can explore the book-by-book results here. Billions of people across the world find solace, meaning and wisdom from reading the Bible. But for some, it can be a difficult book to engage with and understand. In this this pioneering book Karen Sawrey shows you the bible as you never seen it before, using powerful infographics, with data sourced by experts in their fields, to communicate the key biblical themes and narratives. The Info Graphic Bible focuses on the meta narrative, the key points of the major stories and themes, to give the reader insight into the bigger story and help you understand the complex or abstract themes in a relevant way.

Infographic Bible, Cloth over Board: Visualising the The Infographic Bible, Cloth over Board: Visualising the

The Bible is one of the key places we encounter God and his heart for a relationship with us, bringing nourishment and wholeness as we interact with it. Sometimes in the Bible, God communicates to people in dreams. Some of them are symbolic (like the dreams in Daniel), and some involve explicit instructions from God. This timeline visualises the who, what and where of events leading up to and through Easter. You can follow the lines to see the progress of particular individuals - for example focusing in on Friday shows how Jesus draws aside Peter, James, and John and entreats them to pray before Judas and a crowd arrive. Judas betrays Jesus with a kiss, Jesus is arrested, and the disciples flee, while Peter and John follow at a distance.

Covering themes such as the First Family Tree, the Nature and Character of God to the Sacrificial System and Jesus I AM, this fascinating book, painstakingly gathered and presented in this unique and beautiful way will appeal to both the Christian and non-religious readers alike and provide unexpected insight into (one of) the most important book/s ever written.
