After waking several times through the night with one of her children on a trip to visit her mother, Lou Childs, for the trip to ultimately be cut short because of this sleeping issue, this mother/daughter pair new they had to do something. When you share a room with your baby or infant you may want to go about your night after he goes to bed. I then confirmed that my brother-in-law also had the same issue. I can only assume that the humidity from the Mexican heat got in the material and stayed there even though our rooms were air conditioned. Bottom line is that all you need to do is air it out once you get home. Not having them see each other has allowed them to room share AND not wake each other up first thing in the morning. Hallelujah for good sleep!It’s bottomless and has a front panel with a zipper opening so you can place baby in it and easily peek on them. As a mom of two who has owned the SlumberPod for almost 3 years now, take my advice… the Slumber Pod is a MUST HAVE! I can’t make promises, but for our children, they slept SO much longer on travel mornings when they were sleeping in the Slumber Pod.
